Oregon Resources
Medicaid, medicare and medi-cal are all state-ran programs that are offered throughout the state of Oregon. Those that are in the state understand the addiction epidemic that is plaguing their state and the surrounding areas. It is becoming a national problem.
Oregon is tackling the addiction crisis in a different light. They are looking at the addiction recovery rates and not just the rate of the addictions that are happening. This way, they know what is working for those that have found help and stuck with it. They are also struggling to keep addiction out of the workplace, as many employees are bringing it in and causing further issues.
Resources are provided below for those that are not in a private insurance coverage program, and that are a part of a Medicaid, medicare or medi-cal program. There is always help available, regardless of your coverage, through the use of these resources.

NOTE: Overdose deaths by type of opioid are not mutually exclusive and should not be summed. Synthetic opioid deaths do not include deaths due to methadone. Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) drugs are: methadone (M), buprenorphine (B), and naltrexone (N). Naltrexone includes both oral and injectable. An IMD (Institution for Mental Disease) is an inpatient facility with over 16 beds. |
