Nevada Resources
Nevada has numerous medicare, Medicaid, and medi-cal programs throughout the state. Being accustomed to the epidemic that is plaguing the nation, they are working on finding ways to overcome the issues that those with these addictions are faced with.
According to the leaders of the state, they are hoping to stop this epidemic. Having received over $3.5 million in grants to help fight against this crisis, they have to work to provide new programs and better strategies to overcome the crisis for the state. Aspiring doctors in the field are now looking towards better training for opioid addictions, so that they can better help those that have this issue.
There are resources below that provide more information regarding the help that can be found for those that have Medicaid, medicare and medi-cal. Help is always there when it is needed or wanted by those that do not have private insurance coverages.

NOTE: Overdose deaths by type of opioid are not mutually exclusive and should not be summed. Synthetic opioid deaths do not include deaths due to methadone. Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) drugs are: methadone (M), buprenorphine (B), and naltrexone (N). Naltrexone includes both oral and injectable. An IMD (Institution for Mental Disease) is an inpatient facility with over 16 beds. |
