Montana Resources

Montana provides coverage under Medicaid, medicare and medi-cal program options. There is currently an opioid epidemic and addiction issue throughout the country, and through the use of the right coverage and help in the area, many may be able to reduce the lives that are lost to this epidemic.

Overwhelmed, but making progress, those that are in Montana are looking towards boosting the budget and including the treatment plans for opioid addictions and other addictions in the mix. With treatment centers constantly filling before anyone is able to get extended periods of help, the relapse times are becoming overwhelming with the number of people returning after already being there and getting help.

Resources are provided below for those that are in the medicare, Medicaid and medi-cal programs and not private insurance programs, that require or want specific help for the addiction they are struggling with. Help is a call away.

NOTE: Overdose deaths by type of opioid are not mutually exclusive and should not be summed. Synthetic opioid deaths do not include deaths due to methadone. Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) drugs are: methadone (M), buprenorphine (B), and naltrexone (N). Naltrexone includes both oral and injectable. An IMD (Institution for Mental Disease) is an inpatient facility with over 16 beds.
